Reflexology
A lovely foot massage with work on pressure points on the feet, followed by a relaxing and soothing leg massage with oil or cream.

Real Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a slow, intense and detailed massage on the area that is giving you the most problems – back and neck, shoulders and arms, low back and hips, or hip and legs. The purpose is to release chronic contracture of muscles and fascia and reduce pain, and to produce changes in movement and posture. This is not the same as a firm therapeutic massage; it requires more input and participation from the client, and may require repeated sessions for long-standing conditions.

Real Lymph Drainage Massage

One of the owners of Massage Rx is an authority on lymph drainage massage and is the author of two textbooks on the subject, a very specialized style of massage, applied to face and neck, or to specific areas of the body where it may be needed. LDM is used to beautify the skin, mobilize the superficial fascia, stimulate circulation of immune cells, and reduce swelling and bruising. It is gentle, soothing, and deeply relaxing. To cover the entire body, please schedule a series of five sessions. If you want to have only one session, schedule a lymph drainage massage for face and neck.

Cellulite Reduction Massage

A combination of lymph drainage massage and connective tissue massage, the purpose of this massage is to reduce the appearance of cellulite, improve the circulation of blood and lymph in the thighs and hips, reduce chronic contracture and adhesions in superficial tissues.

Winter Eucalyptus Sweat
This specialty treatment is a body wrap with an aromatic blend of eucalyptus and wintergreen essential oils which are combined with orange flower hydrosol. This blend of essential oils is misted over the sheets which are then wrapped around you. The whole process produces a cleansing sweat and raises the body’s core temperature slightly creating an artificial fever. Combined with lymph drainage massage to the face and neck, the whole process stimulates the reproduction of white blood cells and slows down the reproduction of bacteria and viruses. Ideal for cold and flu season.

Spring Tonic
This soothing aromatherapy massage uses an aromatic blend of bergamot, neroli, and black pepper oils to renew and refresh, stimulate the circulation of energy, enliven the spirit after winter is over.

Summer Cooler
Experience a soothing aloe wrap with bay laurel, camphor, palmerosa and chamomile to nourish skin that has been exposed to the heat of summer.

Fall Body Regeneration
Vacation is over, it’s time to get back to work or school. This soothing aromatherapy massage uses an aromatic blend of rosemary, cloves, cardamom, nutmeg, and pine combined in a spicy blend that stimulates the circulation of energy, helps the body prepare for cooler weather.

The Massage Rx LDM Facial

A non-surgical face-lift using an energetic, lymphatic drainage to remove excess toxicity and fluid retention, while stimulating circulation and toning the skin. Acupressure points are stimulated with essential oils to increase the toning effect of the lift, providing a contoured, rejuvenated appearance.

Gentleman’s Hot Towel Facial
